The Somatic Art Lab is a gentle, creative space where art becomes a way to listen to the body.

Rather than focusing on artistic skill or finished products, this gathering invites participants to explore how creativity can emerge from sensation, emotion, and presence.

Through guided somatic practices, mantra chanting and simple art prompts, we explore how color, shape, texture, and movement can help us notice what the nervous system is holding.

This is not about making “good” art. It’s about creating a container where expression can unfold naturally.

The lab is guided by artist/musician **Anu French** and somatic facilitator **Julie Johnson**, blending visual art with nervous-system awareness, sonic medicine and reflective inquiry.

Participants are welcome exactly as they are. No art experience is necessary.

This space is designed to support curiosity, presence, and creative exploration in a calm and supportive environment.
